Message	Yes, title hopping is illegal, that was my point. Yes, the buyer portion is filled out in this case, which is undesirable for a person flipping a car. I was trying to say that he was not smart allowing the previous seller to fill out the "buyer" portion. A smart seller will insist on filling out the "buyer" portion, and notify DMV as to who he sold it to.
